HealhtGrid US is fully supporting the actions undertaken by HealthGrid international. Its objective is to reinforce HealthGrid actions regarding the development and the use of grid on the American territory.

Like HealthGrid international, the HealthGrid.US Alliance is a partnership of scientific, medical and technology professionals from academia, industry and government, whose shared mission is to promote the application of advanced information technology to solve cutting-edge problems in Biomedical Science and Healthcare.

HG.US encourages open, interoperable systems and standards but is specifically technology neutral.
